The Rev. Philip D. Hollins
"Pastor Philip" joined Trinity Presbyterian in August 2006. Philip was born May 8, 1969 in Richmond, VA, where he grew up. He earned his BA/Liberal Arts in Bible and Religion from Montreat College, where he also met his wife, Tracey. After college, they joined First Presbyterian Church of Lakeland, FL as Youth Directors. From there, they moved to the New England area to attend seminary.
Philip earned his Master of Divinity degree from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary in Massachusetts. While in seminary, both he and Tracey served as Youth Directors at Elm Street Congregational Church and Philip joined the US Army as part of the Army Chaplain Candicacy Program.
After graduating from seminary, Philip received his first call to be Associate Pastor at First Presbyterian Church in Lumberton, NC. Two years later, Philip was called to be Associate Pastor of Congregational Care at Northwood Presbyterian Church in Clearwater.
Philip is a Washington Redskins and Tampa Bay Bucs fan, enjoys most recreational sports, and likes to spend his free time with his family. Philip and Tracey have been married since 1990. They have four children: Nate, Zach, Josh and Zoe.
