A LIFELONG COMMITMENT TO EDUCATION AND FAITH DEVELOPMENT

Our educational opportunities seek to nurture and support people of all ages and at various places along their faith journey.  Our church leadership encourages you to attend our events and classes and to become actively involved in one or more of them.  If there is a class or study program you in which you would like to participate or lead, please contact the Adult, Youth or Children’s Ministry Team leaders.

Our Adult Ministry includes a traditional Bible study on Sunday mornings at 10am.  During the week (days and evenings) we have various Bible study classes with child care provided.  See the web site, newsletter and/or bulletin for the latest offerings.

Trinity Presbyterian’s adults are active in teaching the next generation of Christians.  Our adults lead the youth and children’s programs.  We also offer events for all ages including Trunk or Treat at Halloween, an Advent Workshop, an Easter Celebration and, in the summer, Vacation Bible School.  The leadership, enthusiasm and teamwork of the adults in our church family are what allow these events to happen for the kids.

Trinity Travelers is one of the strictly social groups of the church.  We take worship and service seriously, but sometimes we just want to thave a good time, and fun is what we are about.  Taking a hint from our name, we travel; day trips (Tampa Bay Downs, cruises, dinner theatres).  We also travel to church for potluck dinners and movies.  Joins us any time and bring a friend.  Anyone of any age is welcome to join in on the fun.  New members and guests are always welcome.  Check the church newsletter or web site calendar to see what’s going on this month.  The schedule is also in The Weekly Way, distributed during worship on Sundays.  Contact Marion McMullin for more information and with ideas for things to do.

Presbyterian Women form two circles which meet monthly.  Naomi Circle meets the first Wednesday at 1pm.  Morning Circle meets the first Thursday at 9am.  Each has Bible Study and refreshments.  The women participate in various activities during the year and support special missions.  This is for ladies of all ages and newcomers are welcome at any time.

The Men’s Club meets once a month for a delicious breakfast in Founders’ Hall.  There is a guest speaker with an interesting topic, and sometimes entertainment for your pleasure. Guests are always welcome.

A new women's ministry, Girlfriends Unlimited, is a group for girls to relax, laugh and meet new people.  Click here to find out what's going on.    Women today are looking for fresh and fun ways to connect with other women and Jesus.  Girlfriends Unliminted is that new approach to women's ministry.  Girlfriends Unlimited centers on bringing women together in casual, fun settings so that they can meet new friends and are comfortable bringing old friends.  It offers over-the-top themed get togethers called G! Events where women might play games, experience pampering, or find entertainment.  Some of our GU groups include Flicker Chicks (for women who mavel over movies),Cuisine Queens (for ladies to cultivate their culinary skills), Sassy Scrappers (for girls who like to creatively share memories, ideas and life) and there are many more.  At Girlfriends Unlimited we seriously focus on having fun, building friendships and being silly!
