Wednesday Nights at Trinity Presbyterian Church
Wednesday Nights at Trinity start up again on the Wednesday after Labor Day, September 9th.Pastor Philip will lead a six week class entitled, The Best Question Ever – Learning to Foolproof Your Life. Philip will introduce you to a single question that will revolutionize the way you make decisions. You may use this particular question as a filter through which you evaluate every decision in every arena of your life.Wemeet in Founders’ Hall at 6pm and watch a DVD presentation by Andy Stanley who serves as the senior pastor at North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, Georgia. The six parts of this class are:
·The Best Question Ever - We never plan to mess up our lives, but unfortunately we never plan not to.When making decisions, we should always ask ourselves this best question ever.
·Musical Chairs – Experience is the harshest of teachers. We have all made bad decisions in the past for one of three reasons:We were naïve (we lacked experience and judgment); we were fools (we knew what was right but chose to do wrong); or we were mockers (we made fun of people who did right).
·Living on the Edge – Every wrong decision you make morally is preceded by a series of small, unwise choices.Sexual sins have the greatest consequences because we harm not only ourselves but also those around us.
·Time Bandits – Who do we trust with our time? Our time equals our lives, and we can never make up lost time.
·A Little Help from Our Friends – Wisdom isn’t necessarily knowledge; it’s recognizing your limitations. You will never reach your full potential without the counsel of wise people.
·The Best Decision Ever – In every arena of life there are principles, boundaries, and rules that we must be aware of and submit to in order to make wise decisions.
Following the DVD presentations we will take some time together to discuss several questions which will equip you to embrace the truth taught that evening. The class will conclude each week by 8pm.The nursery is available for infants and toddlers, and elementary aged children can go to KfC (Kids for Christ) during this time.
